The Theft of Telecommunications Service is a Crime

After I open an account, how can I bypass the introductory messages when I receive a call from an inmate?

Thanks to Gary G. of Rocky Face , Georgia for this suggestion.

  • Pay Tel has prepared a message that is sent to all customers after they have opened a Pay Tel account that informs them how to bypass the upfront messages.
  • After you hear the name of the inmate, the county jail and you hear, “This call will be recorded and may be monitored at any time”, press the digit 3 two times and the call will be connected.
  • Your talk time does not start until after the call is connected to the inmate.
