Compensation

Competitive Salaries

Pay Tel has a commitment to fair and equitable salaries. We employ an outside consulting firm to conduct market analysis of salaries to ensure salary ranges for each role are competitive and in line using three of the most credible studies in the local area. An employee and their salary are reviewed annually and compared to the market.

Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)

Pay Tel is a 100% employee-owned company under an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). An ESOP is a retirement benefit plan in which employees have a unique opportunity to influence the value of their retirement, at no cost to them whatsoever.

The primary purpose of the Plan is to enable eligible employees to share in the growth and prosperity of the Company and to provide them with an opportunity to accumulate capital for your retirement needs. Your efforts toward the success of the Company are a vital link to the value of your benefits under the Plan because your performance every day on the job contributes to achieving overall company goals and profitability, which in turn may help increase the value of the company and the share value in your account.

Company Profit Sharing

Pay Tel allocates 10% of annual profits to be shared with employees in December each year.

401K

Eligible after 90 days of full-time employment. Company match is 50% of employee contributions up to 6% of salary. Fully vested after 3 years.

Paid Time Off

  • 10 Vacation days per year for the first 2 years of employment. Additional days are earned on a graduated schedule starting in year 2.
  • 6 Sick days are available on January 1st (prorated if hired after January).
  • 11 Paid Holidays per year.
  • 1 Paid day off during the employee’s birth month (day chosen by employee).
  • 24 Paid hours for volunteering.

Health and Wellness

Comprehensive Medical Coverage

Multiple health insurance plan options plus dental and vision coverage. Pay Tel covers over 70% of the premium for employee AND dependent medical coverage costs, including a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) for up to $4,000 towards the deductible. Pay Tel pays 100% of the premium for disability coverages and term life insurance.

Onsite Fitness Center

Employees have FREE access to our well-equipped, 3,000 sq foot onsite fitness center 7 days a week.
